The founder of Rain, Manoj Ammanath champions its fearless attitude and independence. Starting his career in India, his eclectic experience across categories in the region over two decades adds a certain depth to Rain’s approach to communication solutions. A writer at heart, he loves to get his hands dirty to create and inspire work that challenges the norm. His impressive body of work has also won a number of regional and international awards. From music and sports to blackholes and archaeology, there really is nothing in this world that doesn’t interest him.

Malek Atassi is Rain’s cultural evangelist. A graduate from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, Malek has over 20 years of experience creating memorable and award-winning work on brands across categories and continents. Being a native, he brings a deep yet nuanced understanding of the region and its people to Rain’s thinking. His passion for all things social and digital helps Rain ensures our thinking keeps pace with the evolving human race. Outside of work, you will either find him beating the soul out of his drum kit or riding his bike on one of the many long and winding roads.
